The slow down in retail sales is credited to "Anxiety" by some mind-reading analyst types. Could it be that our gas budget has more than doubled and Christmas is coming? I don't feel anxious.
Speaking of Christmas someone had a boycott Christmas idea. I'll find it and link to it soon.

Are you nuts? Boycot Christmas? I hate christmas shopping, that's for sure, but I'm not sure about boycotting it. I love the old movies, even the animated ones they don't show much anymore. I love the feeling of joy when looking at christmas lights strung up on all the houses. I specially love being able to take that time off work and seeing members of my family that I haven't seen in a really long time. Like you, for instance, and Grandma and Grandad. Sometimes even Dad, tho that is rare and he doesn't celebrate christmas, so what does that tell you? Should I be concerned or are you just voicing an abstract opinion?
